This policy explains how personal data may be processed when you visit avsidev.com, browse its portfolio and project pages, or contact Arsenii Dorogin by email.
1. Who is responsible

2. Scope
This policy applies to the website at avsidev.com, including its portfolio, personal profile and public project pages.
It does not replace the privacy information for individual applications. Avsitory has a separate Privacy Policy describing data processing within the game.
3. Data we process
Technical access and security data
When your device requests a page, the hosting and web server infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. This may include:
- IP address;
- date and time of the request;
- requested path and request method;
- response status;
- referring page, where provided by the browser;
- browser, operating system, user agent and related request metadata.
Email correspondence
If you contact me by email, I process the information you choose to send, your email address and the subsequent correspondence. The website does not currently provide a contact form or user accounts.
Theme preference
The website can store your selected light or dark theme in your browser's local storage. This preference remains on your device and is used only to display the website according to your choice.
4. Why we process data
Technical data is processed to deliver the requested pages, maintain availability, prevent abuse, investigate errors and protect the website and server. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Email correspondence is processed to read and respond to your message and to continue the conversation you initiated. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact me. Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR applies.
The theme preference is stored at your request to remember your display choice. It is not used to create a profile or follow you across websites.
No automated decision-making or profiling is performed through this website.
5. Hosting and service providers
The website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH. The server currently used for the website is located in Falkenstein, Germany. Hetzner may process technical request and infrastructure data as a service provider where necessary to host and secure the website.
Email is handled using Apple iCloud Mail. When you send an email, Apple may process message and account-related information under its terms and privacy safeguards. More information is available in Apple's Privacy Policy.
With your consent, the website uses Google Firebase Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure page visits and understand how the portfolio and project pages are used. Analytics may process an online identifier, approximate location derived from an IP address, device and browser information, language, visited pages, referrer and interaction timestamps. Custom events record page and project views, project openings, download-link selections, external-link selections, email-link selections and whether 50% or 90% of a page was reached. Query parameters, URL fragments, email contents and visitor-supplied identifiers are not included in these custom events. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation and Google signals are disabled in the website configuration.
6. Retention
Web server and reverse-proxy logs are subject to automatic size-based rotation. The current configuration retains no more than three log files of up to 10 MB each per configured container. Because rotation depends on traffic volume, this is not a fixed number of days.
Specific log excerpts may be retained for longer only where reasonably necessary to investigate a security incident, prevent abuse or comply with an applicable legal obligation.
Contact emails and related correspondence are retained until the conversation has been completed and applicable legal obligations have been fulfilled. They are then deleted manually.
The theme preference remains in your browser until you change it, clear the website's local storage or remove browser data.
Firebase Analytics event data should be configured in the Google Analytics property for a two-month retention period. Aggregated reports may remain available after user-level event data expires. Consent remains stored in your browser until you change the preference or clear local storage.
7. Cookies, local storage and analytics
Firebase Analytics is optional and remains inactive until you select "Allow analytics". If you decline, the Firebase Analytics SDK is not loaded. You can change the choice at any time through the privacy settings button displayed on the website.
Local storage is used to remember the selected visual theme and your analytics consent choice. Firebase Analytics may use cookies or similar browser storage after consent. The website does not use analytics information for advertising profiles and does not enable advertising features.
If analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking technologies are introduced in the future, this policy and the website's consent controls will be updated before they are enabled where consent is required.
8. Sharing and international processing
Personal data is shared only with service providers where necessary to operate the website or email service, or where disclosure is required by law. Personal data is not sold or shared with advertisers.
Some processing by Apple or Google may take place outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, the providers are responsible for using legally recognised safeguards for such transfers. More information is available in Google's Privacy Policy.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive data you provided in a portable format where applicable;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect the website and the limited personal data processed through it. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Third-party links
Project pages may link to external services such as app stores or other websites. Those services operate under their own privacy policies, and this policy does not govern their processing.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, its hosting or its data practices change. The date at the top of the page identifies the latest version.
